BOISE SHOCK

The Boise Shock project presented the exciting challenge of creating a brand identity for a youth soccer club serving the Treasure Valley. The goal was to develop a dynamic and memorable logo and visual system that would resonate with young players and their families, while also reflecting the club's commitment to player development, a lifelong passion for soccer, and its connection to the local Boise landscape. The resulting design combines a stylized soccer ball, bold typography, a striking lightning bolt, and a representation of the Boise foothills within a traditional shield shape. This combination effectively captures the energy of youth sports, the impact of the "shock" theme, and the club's strong ties to the Treasure Valley community.

WRAP-UP

The Boise Shock project was a truly rewarding experience from start to finish. Witnessing the club's excitement and satisfaction as their identity took shape was incredibly gratifying. This project allowed me to explore creative avenues and push the boundaries of youth sports design, resulting in a unique and memorable brand identity that resonates with players and families across the Treasure Valley. Designing a brand that would appeal to young players from elementary school through high school, while also reflecting the club's focus on player development and a lifelong passion for soccer, was a rewarding challenge. The positive feedback and enthusiasm from the club, and the early positive reactions from the community, made every hour invested in this endeavor worthwhile, solidifying the Boise Shock brand as a standout project in my portfolio.
