FESTIVAL PLANING & EXECUTION
2022 BOISE
GOATHEAD FEST
Boise Goathead Fest is a Pedal-Powered, Wonderfully Weird, and Bona Fide Boise celebration of Boise's vibrant bicycle community! This event is held once a year in downtown Boise usually bringing in around 6,000 people for one of the largest bike parades in the country and a day of partying! It is a fantastic community-inspiring day for Boise.
I am the Creative Director of the Boise Bicycle Project, a non-profit that puts on this event, and my work for this project spans multiple subjects. Take a look at them below.

BRAND
DESIGN

With this year's BGF theme being "SEND IT" I pushed the brand to represent a bright and colorful look. Do you remember the branding of taco bell in the 90s? I basically wanted that look to represent this festival with something eye-catching, fun, goofy, and family-friendly.

MEDIA
PRODUCTION

Goathead Fest is a giant party in downtown Boise as well as the largest bicycle parade in the Northwest. This is a video that I put together to show the fun and bring a bit of hype to the event. Making the participants of the event the main focus.
This video was used for marketing purposes and was utilized all over social media to bring awareness as well as give context to how the day runs.

MERCHANDISE
DESIGN

This year's merchandise for Goathead Fest was a bit of an experience rather than just a fun shirt. We did live screen printing at the festival giving goers the ability to select what type of design they wanted as well as what kind of clothing it was printed on. It made for an enjoyable custom experience.
My job was to come up with all of the merch designs for this year's festival for the customers to pick from. I created 16 different designs hitting different markets of the festival goes. Designs for the festival itself, but also for this year's Goathead Slayers or just general bicycle enthusiasts. It was a lot of work but incredibly satisfying to see the merch line stacked all festival and people reaching out for more after the event.
